The tick season started with an abundance of ticks in the area. Strat and I loathe the creatures. It seems that regardless of the precautions we took, the nasty bugs would find a way to get on us. I stumbled across a natural bug/tick repellent and I thought it would be a necessary spray to have readily available. It is simple to mix up and inexpensive.
The recipe:
1 cup distilled white vinegar
1 cup water
13 drops of tea tree oil
13 drops of lavender essential oil
Shake well and put in a spray bottle. Use frequently, like every 3 -4 hours when outside during tick season.
Safe for pets.
