Some wild weather just moved thru DIAXARIS. First, around 3 PM PST, the skies grew quite dark. There’s a new fire between Twisp and Winthrop so not only were the clouds dark but the smoke was blowing our way as well.
It’s been quite dry up here and the winds, gusting at just over 35 MPH, created quite the dust devils. You can see for yourself in this very short video I was able to capture:
I cannot say for sure that a tornado passed thru, but it certainly seemed as though that was going on. The house and deck (which is already known as the plank of death) shook like mad. For a moment, I thought the plank would be blown away.
