Walks are important for us. We fondly refer to them as solvitur ambulando (Latin). I never know what we will encounter as we are out and about. Sometimes, it is the remains of a carcass, typically a deer. Other times, a surprise waterfall or blooming plant. Sometimes, no visual sightings but a feeling of peace and serenity. We decided to go out to the meadow today. Last time we visited this spot, it was covered with two feet of compacted snow. What we encountered was a beautiful pond! Of course, this will dry up soon, but for now, breathtaking! In a few weeks this meadow will be full of cows.
Thank you for directing me to this site. That pond looks nice. This spring I will start to post the bounty of the east coast G.W. National forest and how it is best used.
I look forward to many great topics and meaningful conversations here.
